Lipotransfer

Lipotransfer (lipofilling) is a natural method of body contouring, tissue defect filling, and reducing signs of aging using autologous fat grafting.

The patient’s own fat is one of the best and safest materials used for body sculpting and filling defects. Moreover, the processed fat concentrate contains valuable stem cells that regenerate the surrounding skin.

Depending on the body area and patient’s expectations, we achieve a skin filling and rejuvenating effect while simultaneously removing excess fat from the location it was harvested.

Lipotransfer is an option for those who want to naturally shape their body, fill in defects, and reduce aging signs. Fat fillers can be safely used on all body parts.

The procedural process is multi-staged. First, using special cannulas, fatty tissue is harvested from areas where there is an excess, usually the abdomen, hips, or thighs. The fat material is then subjected to separation. As a result, we obtain a concentrate containing only young, viable fat cells and mesenchymal stem cells. This prepared material acts as a natural autogenous filler, which is then implanted directly into the target site.

The grafted young fat cells easily vascularize and begin to function like the others, giving a natural filling effect. Mesenchymal stem cells have the ability for unlimited divisions (self-renewal) and differentiation into other cell types, thereby activating reparative and regenerative processes within the tissues.

The first effects in the form of filling, shape change, defect reconstruction, skin renewal, and smoothing are visible immediately after the procedure. However, fat is a material that naturally absorbs, so the effect seen on the day of the procedure will decrease in the following months. The percentage of grafted material that will be absorbed depends on the patient’s individual predispositions.

To achieve an optimal result, the procedure should be repeated 2-3 times at 6-12 month intervals. The final filling effect is permanent.
