Lipofilling is a method that allows for the modeling and slight enlargement of breasts using fatty tissue. Its undeniable advantage is simultaneous body contouring.
The procedure involves removing excess fat from areas where there is too much of it, commonly from the abdomen, hips, and thighs. After adequate preparation, the fatty tissue is implanted into the breasts. Typically, 40-60% of the harvested material becomes permanently integrated. As a result, the breasts become firmer, their shape improves, and their volume increases. The effect is natural.
If a more enhanced enlargement effect is desired, the procedure can be repeated, provided there is fat available for harvesting. The surgery is conducted under general anesthesia and requires a one-day hospital stay. Afterward, for a month, one should wear a sports bra without underwires and compression garments on the liposuctioned areas. The recovery period is short.
Approximately 3 weeks post-operation, one can resume regular activities. The breasts may be swollen during the first week, though they usually aren’t painful. Fat is administered with a small cannula through multiple insertions, and after a week, the marks become barely visible. After liposuction, minimal scars remain (from the cannula incisions). The fatty tissue that integrates remains permanent, typically accounting for 40-60% of the transplanted fat.
Adults in good health and with normal laboratory test results are eligible for the operation.
