How to prepare for the operation?
Laboratory tests should be performed 3 weeks before the operation and results sent for verification to the email address: info@drszczyt.pl
Discontinue taking medications and supplements, such as aspirin, NSAIDs, and vitamin E, 14 days before surgery.
Discontinue taking garlic, Ginko biloba, and Panax ginseng, as well as dietary supplements containing these herbs, 14 days before surgery.
Cease smoking for several weeks before and after surgery as it can delay healing.
I suggest getting vaccinated against HBV (Hepatitis B Virus).
On the day of the operation:
Do not consume any food or drinks at least 6 hours before general anesthesia and 4 hours before local anesthesia.
Do not smoke cigarettes and drink alcohol
Only regularly taken medications can be consumed with a small amount of water.
Take a shower, wash your hair, remove any cosmetics, and remove jewelry before the operation.
Remove artificial eyelashes before operations on the eyes and face.
There is no need to remove nail polish, hybrid polish, tips, etc. Fixed orthodontic devices are also not a hindrance.
Inform the surgeon of any unusual symptoms that occurred within 2 weeks before the operation (fever, cough, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, hives, etc.).
The surgical procedure cannot take place in the case of:
Presence of inflammatory foci in the body or coexistence of diseases such as uncontrolled hypertension, heart diseases, diabetes, hyperthyroidism, untreated bronchial asthma, herpes
Taking medications that disrupt blood clotting (e.g. aspirin)
Menstruation
