Skin lesion removal

Excision of skin lesions is performed for aesthetic or therapeutic reasons. The goal of plastic surgery is to remove the lesion in such a way that the resulting scar is as inconspicuous as possible. Naturally, this depends on the location of the skin lesion, as well as its size and nature. The removed lesion is examined histopathologically.

The procedure is carried out under local anesthesia. Directly after the procedure, one can go home. Once the wound has healed, it is recommended to massage the scar appropriately and apply scar ointments. Such treatment accelerates the maturation of the scar and ensures a good treatment outcome.
